Within the stone, delicate fern-like inclusions branch and drift like something remembered from a forest floor or the bottom of a riverbed, each one entirely unique to this one piece.
The pendant and chain are both hand wrought in sterling silver, oxidized to a deep, weathered patina that lets the opal's pale, mossy inclusions glow against the darkened metal. Cleverly built into the pendant itself is a hidden locking clasp — so the necklace opens and closes right at the front, sliding easily on and off without ever wrestling with a clasp at the back of your neck.
