These whimsical earrings are part of my Pieces of the Sky collection and are proof that not everything from outer space needs to be taken seriously.
Each earring features a tiny space alien with three wiggly legs and a freshwater pearl for a head, because clearly even extraterrestrials appreciate good adornment. Dangling from the ends of their squiggly limbs are faceted cubic zirconia, catching the light as they move, adding just the right amount of visual mischief.
The aliens are slightly asymmetrical and full of motion, designed to bounce and sway with the wearer. They have a sense of curiosity and personality, as though they just landed, looked around, and decided to stay for the party.
They hang approximately two and a half inches from the earlobe and are extremely lightweight, suspended from argentium silver ear wires, making them easy to wear despite their animated presence.
These earrings are for the woman who does not mind being noticed, who enjoys a little humor in her art, and who understands that jewelry can be both beautifully made and joyfully strange. One of a kind, and absolutely not from this planet.
